Welcome to the 'Road to the 2010 WORLD CUP!'

Hey all!
My name is Vanesha McGee and I'm a winger in the USA Women's National Team. I'm so excited to share my journey to this year's World Cup with everyone. I'll keep you filled in on training, practices, games, and lots of rugby excitement along the way.
An intro about myself:
I went to college at Temple University where I fell in love with rugby during my very first practice - go Temple! I've been hooked ever since! I tried out for many select-side teams and was lucky enough to play for local and territorial teams. That was A LOT of fun!
I was granted an opportunity to play with the US U-23 National Team in 2004. I got to play with ruggers from all across the country. I learned so much from everyone, coaches and players! Just as my U-23 days had come to an end, I was invited to a WNT training camp for the first time.
When I’m not playing with the WNT, I play with my local Club team – New York Rugby Club. Three other WNT pool players are on NYRC – Phaidra Knight, Lara Vivolo, and Christina Hobson.
The WNT is headed to the World Cup in August and I’m going to share my experiences throughout this journey.
Feel free to ask questions and leave comments. Hope you enjoy! : )

I just looked up http://www.rwcwomens.com/index.html for a bit more info and looks like you have a pretty tough pool especially against the hosts England.
Just wanted to wish you and all the ladies the very best of luck I look forward to reading your updates leading up to the comp.
Do you know if it is going to be televised?
