We've made it to the World Cup! I'm pretty excited to be here and lead off most of my conversations with.."Hey, We're at the WORLD CUP!" We're all pretty jet lagged and tired, but we've been lucky enough to score a day off from training today! We started the week off with two days of 2-a-day training sessions and after today will move to 1-a-day sessions.
I know I said I would put up some pictures and videos from Maine (they're loaded onto my computer), but my brain hasn't been functioning at full capacity outside of rugby, so I'm still working on it.
We are staying in dorms across campus from the World Cup facilities. We move to the other side of Surrey University on Monday, when the event officially kicks off.
So far so good...feeling great vibes in the air around the USA team!
